The Challenge
During the period 2023-2024, LISI AEROSPACE Rugby partnered with Waste Efficiency to transform waste management practices, focusing on maximizing value from Titanium waste streams. Waste Efficiency provided critical expertise in the selection of alternative waste contractors, supporting the Rugby site in identifying the best-fit vendors to meet our strategic and operational needs.

Outcomes & Achievements
Beyond contractor selection, Waste Efficiency played a role in facilitating rigorous audits to ensure that all regulatory requirements were met and that LISI Group's high standards for environmental responsibility and operational compliance were achieved. This comprehensive support not only ensured a smooth transition to a new waste contractor but also safeguarded LISI AEROSPACE Rugby’s adherence to industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.
Thanks to this collaborative effort, the Rugby site has unlocked a potential revenue increase of £23,401.80 based on 2023 titanium scrap volumes. With Waste Efficiency’s support, LISI AEROSPACE Rugby is setting a new standard in waste management, turning titanium waste into valuable revenue while upholding the highest standards of compliance and sustainability.
