Our Sustainability Philosophy

The Circularity Gap

Only 7.5% of materials are currently circled back into the UK economy.*

That means 92.5% of resources are lost to the linear take, make, waste model — extracted, used once, and discarded. We exist to close that gap. Working with a network of specialist suppliers, we design resource management strategies that go beyond simple collection and disposal.

Every waste stream is assessed for its highest-value recovery route — whether that's recycling, reprocessing, or reuse. But we don't stop at your bins. We support our clients' broader sustainability ambitions, from deposit return schemes and waste advisory services to alternative procurement options that reduce environmental impact before waste is even generated.

Our Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals

The SDGs listed below are the most relevant to Waste Efficiency; however, the overarching goals of all 17 remain at the forefront of our business.

Our commitment extends across all United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; however, six of them are especially relevant to our work and values at Waste Efficiency.
