Our People - Steve

This is Steve. Steve has worked for Waste Efficiency for 5 years and one of Waste Efficiency’s facility managers, he runs a document shredding and warehousing operation for one of our customers.

This subcontract service is fully integrated with the customer’s operation, effectively providing the service seamlessly alongside their own production operation.

He is abrupt and can be extremely blunt, he tells it as he sees it and does not suffer fools. The operation he runs is frequently under extreme pressure with high work volumes to process, Steve copes with this by instilling a powerful work ethic the people who work for him. He has the ability to extract performance levels from his staff that they did not know they were capable of.

Yet for all his gruff exterior Steve cares deeply about his staff and about delivering the service to the customer. For him the two are intimately connected, if his staff are working well the work will be done properly and the customer will be happy.

He will go the extra mile to ensure the service is consistently excellent and takes great personal pride in delivering it.

Steve embodies much of what makes Waste Efficiency different. For us it’s not about flash corporate statements, customer focus groups and expensive marketing initiatives.

It’s about delivering real results, on the ground, where it matters, time after time.
